Transparency

India Youth For Society is a not-for-profit organization and a registered society under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Act, 2001. The Society is transparent in its functioning and maintenance of records. Auditing of all financial transactions is done annually through a certified chartered accountant, and these reports can be found here. All Indian contributions made to IYFS are eligible for a tax deduction of 50% under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Work Culture

India Youth For Society is an inclusive, gender neutral organization. The work culture is cordial and friendly. The society encourages women to actively participate in all its activities, while leadership roles are given purely based on individual merit and specific skills relevant to the activities concerned. IYFS believes that a Society grows only with the growth of the individual and vice-versa. We provide opportunities to learn and improve skills leading to growth as an individual and as a team-player.

POSH Guidelines

India Youth For Society envisages women empowerment as one of its goals. The society encourages women to actively participate in all its activities. We ensure a safe work environment for all women who work with us.

IYFS strictly adheres to the mandates of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013 [POSH Act], and has an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to examine grievances regarding sexual harassment or any other misconduct by the society member. After a thorough investigation, penal and legal actions will be taken against the perpetrator(s) as recommended by the ICC. They will be permanently barred from all future activities and associations of the Society.
